Ranch Directions

The TK14 Ranch is located 2.4 miles west of Highway 87 about 15 miles north of Mason and 13 miles south of Brady. It is 110 miles NW of the San Antonio airport and 114 miles W of the Austin Airport.

Directions from Mason, TX

From the Mason courthouse, the dirt road turnoff to the ranch is 15.5 miles off Hwy 87. On Hwy 87, before the ranch road turnoff, you'll cross FM 1222 at a tiny community named Camp Air. At that point, you're 4.1 miles to the dirt road turnoff. The TK14 Ranch sign will be on your left. The Katemacy Ranch entrance is directly across the highway.

Directions from Brady, TX

Traveling from Brady on Hwy 87, the dirt road turnoff is 3 miles after crossing the San Saba River. The TK14 Ranch sign will be on your right. The Katemacy Ranch entrance is directly across the highway.

Dirt Road Turnoff on Hwy 87

Reaching the TK14 Ranch sign, turn west onto a dirt road off Hwy 87. Coming from Mason, if you get to the San Saba River, you've gone too far. From Brady, if you get to Camp Air, you've missed it. Once on the dirt road, cross 4 cattle guards. A gate at the 3rd cattle guard may be closed. If so, please close after passing through the gate. After 2.4 miles you will come to a large native rock and black pipe entrance gate with the TK14 Ranch sign. The gate is always locked so someone will be there to meet you. If we're not waiting, we'll be there shortly.

Before Arriving

Call the ranch foreman, Steve Schooley, at (325)347-4905 upon arriving in Mason or Brady and he will meet you at the gate. If you have trouble reaching him, call Tim Terry at (325)792-6043.
